Air fried Broccoli
Presenting a super delicious Oil free vegetarian appetizer, air fried broccoli by Ruma. It has the flavors of the Indian spices and is crisp and delicious.
Recipe follows.
- Take approximately 500g of fresh broccoli, cut its florets in equal sizes. You can keep the stems. Wash it thoroughly and dry with paper towels.
- Make an all spice powdered mixture of 1/2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander seeds, 1/4 black pepper, 1 green cardamom, half of a black cardamom and 1/4 stick cinnamon. Slightly roast and grind it to a powder.
- Now in a bowl take 2 tbs oil, 1 tsp salt and the freshly ground spice mixture. Mix well and season the cut broccoli florets.
- Sprinkle 2 tbs plain flour or gram flour on top of the seasoned broccoli florets and ensure all the florets are well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer at 180c for 4 minuets then fry the seasoned veggies at the same temperature for 16 minuets.
- Keep checking in every four minutes intervals. In between brush some melted butter on the veggies.
- plate it and enjoy your appetizer.
