Air Fried Vegetarian Whole Wheat Puffs
Ruma's Air Fryer delight Vegetarian Whole Wheat Puffs is a regular puff with the goodness of yogurt stuffed with delicious fried vegetable like potatoes, green peas, season with aromatic Indian spices.
Recipe Follows:
- Knead a soft dough of one cup wheat flour with half cup of yogurt and 1/4 tsp salt.
- For stuffing take two boiled or roasted smashed potatoes, a cup of green peas, a chopped onion, 1/2 tsp garlic paste, 1/4 tsp ginger paste, 1/4 tsp cumin seeds, a tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp red chili powder, salt as per your taste, 1/4 tsp garam masala (Easily available at Indian Stores) powder and a tbs oil for fry.
- For frying the prepared veggies, heat oil, temper with the cumin seeds. Fry the onions for 30 seconds, add the garlic and ginger paste along with salt. Again fry for the 30 seconds, then add the coriander powder with red chili powder. Frying for few seconds add the green peas and potatoes. Stir fry for 30 seconds and keep aside for stuffing.
- Now roll out some small flat breads and stuff with the fried stuff and seal well the ends by pressing the edges.
- Preheat the air fryer at 180c for 4 minutes then fry the rolls for 6-8 minutes. Applying little butter both the sides well and flip it halfway.
- Enjoy with your favorite dips.
