Highlight Recipe: Colorful pancakes topped with honey and fresh fruits

Ingredients.
- flour / Maida
- egg
- tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- tbsp vanilla essence
- pinch salt
- 2 tbsp backing powder
- Honey
Method
- In a large bowl mix egg, sugar, milk and vanilla essence and whisk it well then add flour, backing powder, salt, melted butter and mix until smooth.
- Divide the batter into 6 bowls. Use five different food color to color the batter and leaving one bowl of batter plain.
- Melt a small cube of butter in a nonstick frying pan over a medium low flame. Once foaming of butter begins and put spoonful of the pancake batter into the pan. Cook for 3-4 mins then flip over and cook the other side until cooked through and ever so slightly golden brown.
- Serve with fresh fruits, honey or ice cream if you like
