Air fryer special: fish masala curry
Learn to make Fish Masala Curry using your Air fryer with Ruma's recipe.It is a simple recipe made with fresh homemade spices,tomato sauce and schezwan chutney flavour and uses very little oil.
Recipe follows:
- I have used fresh Rahu fish (Indian carp) and air fried the fish pieces at 180c for 16 minutes.
- Keep tossing the fish pieces in intervals. No need to season the fish pieces.
- When four minutes are left for the fish pieces to be air fried, add a roughly chopped onion, 5-6 skinned garlic cloves and two trimmed green chilies in the air fryer and let it cook for the remaining time.
- In a pan heat two tbs of oil and add the roasted fish and the roasted onions, garlic and chilies.
- Season with a tsp of the mentioned homemade powdered spices cumin, coriander and Garam masala powder.
- Again give everything in the pan a good toss then add a teaspoon tomato sauce and schezwan chutney. Further add two cups of hot water into it and let it cook for couple of minutes.
- Enjoy with the steamed rice it’s delicious.
