Highlight recipe : Banana Chips


TWCT is glad to publish today's highlight recipe, Banana Chips by its creative and talented member, Mrs. Lopa Zacharia Padwal from Bangalore, India. Her banana chips recipe is quick and easy and is a popular home made snack.

Recipe follows:

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Peel the bananas and slice it directly in the hot oil.
  • After it is half crisp, add 2 to 4 drops of salt solution( you can add flavors of your choice like black pepper or red chili powder in the solution or just salt) and fry till crisp.
  • Soak the excess oil in a paper towel and serve the chips hot!
