HILIGHT RECIPE : CRISPY AND CRUNCHY EGGLESS COCONUT COOKIES


TWCT is glade to publish today's highlight recipe CRISPY AND CRUNCHY COCONUT COOKIES by wonderful home chef Chinmoyee Bayan from Bangalore, India. This simple baked cookies are really a great tea time delight and easy to make.

Recipe Follows:
Ingredients

*1/2 cup wheat flour
*1/4 cup butter
*1/4 cup desicated coconut
*1/4 cup sugar
*1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
*1 teaspoon milk or as per requirement
*2 tablespoon desiccated coconut for sprinkle on top of the cookies

Methods
Make good mix of butter, sugar and vanilla essence until it becomes a nice creamy texture. Then add the flour  and coconut with the prepared mixture knead well into a smooth dough.
Sprinkle a tablespoon milk on the kneaded dough once again knead it.

Then make some cookie patties out of the kneaded dough and coat with some desiccated coconuts. Now transfer the cookies in a preheated oven and bake for 160c for 20 minutes then at 200c for 5 minutes or until golden brown. And here is your nice nutty aromatic cookies are ready to serve.
