HILIGHT RECIPE:INDIAN STEAMED YOGRUT PUDDING 'BHAPPA DOI'



TWCT is glad to publish today's  highlight recipe  INDIAN STEAMED YOGRUT PUDDING by wonderful home chef Mrs. Aditi Nath from Hyderabad, India. This dessert is kind of pudding like, but without gelatin or chinagrass or agar agar... it is a completely healthy and delicious dessert delight.

Recipe Follows

Ingredients

*1 cup thick yogurt
*1 cup condensed milk
*4 tablespoon milk

Method

Mix well the yogurt and condensed milk , then add the milk and mix well with all.

For steaming take a well butter greased tin and transfer the mixture into it, sprinkle some chopped nuts on it.a

In a heavy bottom pan boil 3 cups of water for steaming or you can use a steamer too.

Place a rim in the pan and place the pudding tin on it for steaming.

Cover the pan and steam the pudding for 30 -35 minutes on a low heat.

After steaming let it cool in the refrigerator for an hour then serve.
