HIGHLIGHT RECIPE : BUTTER COOKIES

Ingredients:
1.Plain flour 1 1/2 cups
2. Sugar 1/2 cup
3. Rice powder 1/2 cup
4. Baking powder 1 tablespoon
5. Butter 8 tablespoon
6. Vanilla essence or extracts 1 tablespoon
7. Food colour of your choices
8. Milk as per requirements

Method:

In a mixing bowl add butter, sugar, vanilla essence and whisk them till it becomes fluffy. Then add all the dry ingredients and mix it well to make a soft dough. The dough should be a smooth one , if required add little milk.

Now make six equal part of the dough . I have added red, green, pink, yellow and purple food colour on the five parts of the dough.

Then roll out each dough in square shapes and finally place all the rolled out shits one by one in a layers. Wrap the dough with cling film. Press well all the sides and keep it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

After 2 hours cut the dough with the help of a knife in your desired shapes and bake at preheated oven at 180c for 20 minutes. And here is your lovely colourful butter cookies are ready for a happy treat.
