HIGHLIGHT RECIPE: AIR FRYER BAKED MINI SWEET BUNS


 
TWCT is glad to publish another Air Fryer delight made by Admin Ruma Hazarika from Mumbai, India. This is Ruma's another successful baking delight and she is really excited to share with you all.
 
Recipe follows.
 
Ingredients:
1. Dry active yeast 1 teaspoon.
2. 2 Tablespoon sugar
3. pinch of salt
4.1/2 cup warm water
5. plain flour 2 1/2 cups
6. butter for apply on buns
7. 1/2  cup milk
 
Method:
In a mixing bowl take the yeast , sugar and warm water, stir and keep covered aside for activate . When the yeast activate well, you can see the bubbles on top and the yeast is ready to use. Now add the salt and flour into it, mix it well. Then sprinkle the milk , knead well. Add some 2-3 tablespoon water too for kneading and make a very soft glutenous dough. Sprinkling little flour knead again it well and apply little butter on, it keep covered with a wet cloth, keep aside for proving the dough for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes the dough will risen in double in size, then sprinkling littlie flour on it knead it well again, so that all the air from it get out. Flatten the dough apply little butter and sprinkle some of your favourite things like Trutti Frutti or chopped dried fruits in it, fold the dough from all the sides and knead it again. Now divide the dough,  into small equal portions, rolling it make some small balls and leaving some gap place all in a well greased baking pan. Again keep it covered and keep proving around 10-12 minutes. After proving all the balls risen up again, then brush up with some milk and put the baking pan in the pre heated Fryer basket and bake at 180c for 8-12 minutes. After baking apply butter on top and keep covered for sometime until it comes into the room temperature. Here the buns covered after baking to prevent dryness of the shell.
