HIGHLIGHT RECIPE: SHEER KHORMEH

The very known dessert called SHEER KHORMEH شیر خورمه
Ingredients :
Thin roasted vermicelli (seviyan)
Knotted vermicelli (seviyan)
Full fat cream milk
Sugar
Clarified butter
Almonds
Palm dates
Heat the pan with butter/ghee and stir fry the loose roasted vermicelli until aromatic.
Add the milk and stir continuously for 15 min.,add sugar and dates and stir until aromatic and until desired consistency of thickness.
Fry chopped almonds and kaju separately and keep a side for garnish.
Fry the knotted seviyan in butter/ghee all the sides until crispy.
Put the knotted seviyan in the center and pour the sheera khormeh upon with fried almonds and dates.
Serve hot
