HIGLIGHT RECIPE: CHICKEN BHUNA
TWCT is glad to publish another today's Highlight Recipe Chicken Bhuna , an innovative recipe by our wonderful Home Chef Shabana Choudhury from Guwahati, Assam, India. Please go through her recipe. My special Chicken bhuna is my one of the innovative recipe.
Here is my recipe.
Ingredients_ Country Chicken 900 gm, tomato 2( medium) , bay leaf 2 ,onion chopped 2( medium ) ginger garlic paste 1 1/2 teaspoon, turmeric powder 1tsp , red chilli powder 1tsp, cumin coriander powder 2tsp , garam masala powder (Cardamom, cinnamon and cloves) 2 tsp , chopped green and red chilli 4 to 5 , salt to taste and mustard oil 2 table spoon.
Method:
Take a thick bottomed pan add oil. When oil is hot then add chopped onion and chopped tomato, saute for some time then add chicken and chopped chillies ,saute for another some time.
Then add turmeric powder, chilli powder , salt and bay leaf . Cook cover about 5 to 7 min. When chicken becomes tender, then add cumin ,coriander powder and Garam masala ( a mixture spice powder of cinnamon, cloves and cardamom) powder. When aroma of the spices comes out, then sprinkle little water and cook for another 2 minutes.
And here is your nice , aromatic Chicken Bhuna is ready.
Before serving sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves and serve.
