HIGHLIGHT RECIPE: DUCK FRY
TWCT is glad to publish today's Highlight Recipe Duck Fry, made by Wonderful Home Chef Pari Dehingia from Bangalore, India. This is a popular Assamese delicacy and she made it perfectly.

Duck Fry
Ingredients
- Duck meat curry cut pieces 1/2 kg
- Oil 2 table spoon
- Onion 3 medium size sliced
- Tomato 1 medium size sliced
- Ginger garlic and black pepper paste(together) 2 table spoon
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder 1 tea spoon
- Jeera powder 1 tea spoon
- Dhaniya powder 1 tea spoon
Method
In a pan heat oil and fry sliced onion for 2mins, now add ginger garlic and black pepper paste and fry another 2mins. Now add tomato, turmeric powder, jeera powder, dhaniya powder and 1/2 cup of water and cook till its become like a thick paste. Now add duck meat, salt to taste. Cook this in high flame for 5 mins and slow flame for another 40 mins, till its color become dark brown and it will be ready to serve. You can serve this with jeera rice or plain rice.
